Explore the Chaleur region in all its beauty and variety. Wether it's kayaking, hiking, cycling, the Chaleur Green Trails offers many kilometers of all-season trails, landing docks and events, providing everything you need for your outdoor getaway!
Chaleur Green Trails is a non-profit organization aiming to build and maintain non-motorized trails and infrastructures in the Chaleur region. It also promotes their usage by the residents and tourists.
Chaleur Green Trails can call on the services of 4 very dedicated groups of volunteers who can offer a wide range of activities in a variety of natural settings: Road cycling, Northern Paddlers, Mountain & FatBike Chaleur and Nepisiguit Mi’gmaq Trail.
Explore our region!
Our trails are not just functional, giving access to schools and larger businesses; they also take advantage of our beautiful natural settings. You might be able to enjoy your best birdwatching ever at Daly Point or pedal through a marvellous cedar grove along the Bay of Chaleur.
Follow the Nepisiguit River on the Nepisiguit Mi'gmaq Trail and see waterfalls and salmon pools. Be impressed by the work of the beavers and the cry of the Bald-Headed Eagle. Kayak the salt water marshes of Beresford and learn about our endemic Maritime Ringlet butterfly. Bike the Acadian coastal road (Route 134) and go through communities from Belledune to Bathurst, enjoying the views of the Bay of Chaleur. Our trails connect the region and allow you to meet friendly locals eager to share their culture.
Enjoy our Environment
While promoting active transportation, we also put much efforts to help keep our trails clean. We promote the habit of carrying out what you bring in, or more! Through mutual cooperation, many people have gained a sense of pride to keep our region clean and pristine and correct any problems that comes across. Thank you for respecting nature.
